Changelog & Development Update
Yes, I'm still alive! It's been a while, so I wanted to share an update on Chapter 5. A lot has been happening.
Chapter 5 presents something of a contradiction. On one hand, I've been actively learning from the bloat and over-engineering that crept into Chapter 4. On the other, Chapter 5 is inherently grandiose in scope. It introduces numerous new environments, characters, and assets designed specifically for this chapter. Rest assured, your generous support is being put to excellent use.
One major factor accelerating my progress has been moving past many of the heavier story sequences. The middle portion of this chapter leans more into what many of you are here for—the ladies. Beth fans, in particular, should be thrilled: her final scenes alone total over 400 renders. I wanted to give her a proper send-off. But don't worry—all the main girls will receive their due attention.
It's amusing how massive, animation-heavy girl scenes often come together relatively quickly, while story-driven sequences take an eternity. Writing is hard—who knew?
As for the question on everyone's mind—"When is Chapter 5 coming out?"—it's still a bit early for me to pin down an exact date. That said, a late summer release feels realistic. The middle section is fairly well mapped out, so the timeline largely depends on how carried away I get with the renders. The ending will be significantly more complex, but it's also the finale, so I'll cross that bridge when I get there. After that, I aim to have the Epilogue finished before year's end—and then this project will be done done.
