Magical Item Box
And there's more! Tapping the block icon in the upper-left corner of the screen opens a magical box filled with tons of fun items.
When you tap it, a magical item box opens up, offering a mix of classic Mario items. You might find a Super Mushroom, Super Star, Yoshi-themed items, and even pipes or blocks.
You can drag around the screen or interact with these objects, adding more variety and surprises to the gameplay.
Peek-a-Boo Mode
One highlight is the Peek-a-Boo feature. Yoshi or Boo (the ghost from Mario games) can join you in a hide-and-seek style mini-game. They appear, disappear, and react when you tap or find them, creating a delightful and giggly experience.
Yoshi's Sleep Mode
After a while, Yoshi gets tired and falls asleep. This sleep mode is intentional—it helps kids naturally limit their screen time. When Yoshi is sleeping, he won't wake up, no matter what you do. This signals to him that it's time to rest.
You can disable this feature by tapping the gear icon in the top right corner when the app launches.
How to play
Step 1: Launch the game
Open the game. Yoshi will immediately appear on the screen and be ready to interact with him.
Step 2: Touch and explore
Use your fingers:
- Tap Yoshi.
- Pull his cheeks.
- Pull his tongue.
- Move him.
Each touch triggers a new, fun reaction.
Step 3: Open the Magic Item Box
Tap the block icon in the upper left corner.
A magic box will appear containing the following items:
- Super Mushroom
- Super Star
- Pipe
- Other Mario items
Drag them onto the screen and interact with them.
Step 4: Play Hide and Seek
Select the "Hide and Seek" option or wait for Boo to appear.
You can:
- Find Yoshi or Boo when they hide.
- Tap them when they appear.
- Watch their funny reactions.
- Step 5: Interact with Enemies
- Friendly Mario enemies may appear.
Tap, drag, or play with them—they won't attack or harm you.
Step 6: Yoshi falls asleep
After a while, Yoshi will get tired and fall asleep.
This means:
- Take a break
