The game feels like a combination of Egg, Inc. and Pocket Ants. I tried it without expecting much, but it turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable way to pass the time-even though I'm usually not a fan of these kinds of games.

Mega Mantis is all about breeding and caring for praying mantises. You simply watch your miniature insect world expand. What I really love is that the game keeps progressing even when you're offline. When you return, a whole bunch of new mantises are waiting for you. It's straightforward, but exciting, because you never know what you'll get next.
Endless Surprises
Every cocoon produces a new species, and each one looks completely different-some adorable, some fierce, and some downright bizarre. The Mecha Mantis and Druid Mantis stood out to me the most because of their distinctive designs.
You can upgrade and combine them to grow a massive army without any stress or grind. This gradual progression feels great, especially when you're just starting out.
Free Legendary Rewards
The game uses a card system that lets you strengthen your mantises. I expected it to be complicated, but it's actually very simple to grasp. The Mysterious Cocoon card pool is particularly fun because it gives you a shot at getting rare Sky, Earth, or Mystic mantises.
And the best part? Just logging in gives you a legendary mantis called General Guan Mantis. It's extremely strong and super helpful early on.
Fun, Quick Battles
Even though most of the gameplay is idle, the Survival Trials let you fight bosses manually. You can move your mantis, dodge, and use abilities. It's a refreshing break from the automated gameplay.
The battles are never stressful-just enjoyable mini-challenges with great rewards.
